Ms. Erykah

Erykah Badu is a goddess. Bottom line. So soulful. I went to the concert for the Roots and Erykah was a bonus cuz I have never seen her before. 40 minutes in the Roots were already off the stage, and everyone was anticipating Baduizm. Don't get me wrong, I love the Roots. LOVE them. Seen them countless times. But tonight Erykah Badu stole the show. So beautiful and genuine and soulful. Amazing show. I've always gotten into concerts but this one was a little different. Where the music was so clear and smooth, I literally just zoned out and forgot I was at a concert a for a couple of seconds on a few occasions. I can only hope that every show I see from now on is half that amazing.
